Sphinx University

Sphinx University is a private medical university located in New Assiut, on the West Bank of the Nile.

It was founded in 2019.

The university has faculties in oral and dental medicine, physical therapy, applied health science and engineering, pharmacy and nursing. Each has its own library.

There is a focus on community service, expressed through a dedicated department, service units serving the surrounding area, education on environmental and social issues, and the offer of scholarships in surrounding communities.
