About Amity University, Mumbai
Amity University was established in 2014, with its green certified campus located across 30-acres of land in Mumbai, India.
The university places an emphasis on science, with six of its 17 institutes in the science, engineering and technology domain. Its other institutes include: business, logistics, built environment, law, behavioural and allied sciences, communication, liberal arts, fashion design and technology, fine arts, languages, and travel and tourism.
Students at Amity University can join a range of sports teams including football, cricket, lawn tennis and badminton. They can also use the five acre modern sports complex.
There’s also a food plaza, salon, laundry facilities, and a medical centre within the campus.
The university helps students to find employment through partnerships with IBM, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and other companies. These partnerships allow students to conduct internships and placements within these companies.
On campus the university has a student innovation incubator to nurture entrepreneurial talent and encourage business-minded individuals to create start-ups.
