Oxford University has been granted a High Court injunction ensuring that students will be able to take examinations without being disrupted by animal rights activists.

The order prevents campaigners protesting at the university's construction of a new biomedical research facility, from gathering within 100 yards of the Examination Schools, in the High Street, or Ewart House, in Summertown, Oxford, betwen April 18 and July 20 and September 10 and October 31.
