The results of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015-16 are out now.

The results were formally presented during a masterclass by rankings editor Phil Baty at the THE World Academic Summit at the University of Melbourne on 1 October.

We have made changes to the World University Rankings this year. Here are four articles you should read to understand what's new:

The 2015-16 World University Rankings will be accompanied by six subject-specific tables which will outline the top 100 universities in the world in the fields of arts and humanities; clinical, pre-clinical and health; engineering and technology; life sciences; physical sciences; and social sciences. These will be released online and in Times Higher Education magazine on a weekly basis from 14 October to 18 November.

The official launch event of the 2015-2016 THE World University Rankings was streamed live from the World Academic Summit in Melbourne from 00:01am (UK) on 1 October.
