University of Westminster - Yes he can ... or can he?

With politics a hot topic after the instalment (finally) of a new prime minister in Downing Street, academics have met in London to discuss the track record of the US president. Scholars interested in the American presidency attended a conference at the University of Westminster last week, where they considered how the first phase of Barack Obama's presidency has unfolded. The event was organised by Westminster's Centre for the Study of Democracy in conjunction with the Cultural Office of the US Embassy in London and the British Library's Eccles Centre for American Studies.
