Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships

The Royal Academy of Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invite proposals for their joint postdoctoral research fellowships in engineering. They provide support for young, high-quality engineers to encourage them to develop their interests in basic academic research as a stepping stone to a successful research career.

Funding is available for individuals who have recently been awarded, or are about to be awarded, their PhD. The scheme provides funding for five years to encourage the best researchers to remain in the university sector.
