Euro link

A network of 40 Euro Study Centres funded by the European Union has recently been launched by the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities. The launch was marked by a live interactive satellite television programme linking four sites, including the Open University's north regional centre in Newcastle with sites in Austria, Finland and France. The OU has two study centres in the United Kingdom which are part of the initial network of 40 ESCs in 15 countries. The other is in London.
