Wye College in Kent, which is known for its research-led teaching in the biological, environmental and agricultural sciences, merged with Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine in London yesterday.
Nineteen new courses at BSc and MSc level will be created as a result. Tim Clark, vice-chairman of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and a former pro rector at Imperial, will be provost of Imperial College at Wye.
