Once-wealthy Golden State system loses its lustre - Comments

Dear world citizens, IF we/you want a cleaner, safer and a better educated world, than we must all pay our fair share. We can't just take and not give back, let California be a warning of what can happen even to the Golden State. California must get rid of Proposition 13, which allows those that came before, to pay far less taxes then those who arrived later. The very individuals who profited mightly during the recent "heyday" spent it all, even sacrificing their own grandchildren's future. Sad and unnecessary consequences of being selfish.
