The best "test your knowledge of neuroscience in the comfort of your own home" volume I have encountered to date. It checks medical students' knowledge of important aspects of basic neuroscience, clinically relevant neuroanatomy and diagnostic skills by means of clinical scenarios. The scenarios are just the right length for medical undergraduates, allowing them a fairly gentle introduction to the serious art of neurological diagnosis they will encounter at later stages in their careers. Most importantly, the answers to the questions posed by the scenarios are unequivocal and very clearly explained.

This is a very useful book indeed and deserves room in the bulging pocket of the trainee doctor, at whatever stage, especially if a momentary loss of memory requires jogging by the first section on "High-yield facts".

Who is it for? Medical students and possibly those of the manipulative professions.

Presentation - No complaints.

Would you recommend it? Definitely, even at the price.
