This book covers the "sub-orientations within the person centred nation". It takes in FOT, SOT, TIR, REBT, MCBT, CBT, IPT and others. The contributions come from leading figures in the person centred/contextual therapy field but also from within a health ghetto created by the current focus on effectiveness and value for money. I doubt if anything here will reach those outside the ghetto but for those waiting within for their time to come, there are what will be regarded as some useful markers.

Who is it for? Experienced counsellors in primary care or community mental health settings, as well as trainees.

Presentation: This book has the limitations and repetitions of an edited volume.

Would you recommend it? Likely to be of interest to anyone involved in counselling.
