Queen's University Belfast - Need-to-know basis
Students in Northern Ireland had their questions on espionage answered at last week's Spyfest. The one-day exhibition, hosted by the Institute of Irish Studies at Queen's University Belfast, focused on the role of the intelligence services in wartime. Among those participating was Keith Jeffery, professor of British history at Queen's and official historian of the Secret Intelligence Service. The annual event was aimed at undergraduate historians and covered the years 1909-49.
