Plans for a £20 million building in Ipswich that will form the centrepiece of the new University Campus Suffolk were made public this week, ahead of a formal planning application.
UCS is a partnership between the University of East Anglia and Essex University, working with Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth Colleges, Otley College, Suffolk College and West Suffolk College. The first students are expected to enrol in 2007, and the building is expected to be ready for the second intake in 2008.
