TP3 event in Dublin

Brussels, 27 Nov 2002

Enterprise Ireland is organising a free information day on the Sixth EU Framework Programme for Research on 16 December in Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland.

The Commission is currently finalising a first call for proposals to be issued on 17 December 2002, and the information day is designed to help the research community understand the process, particularly on the specific programme covering thematic priority area three (TP3): nanotechnologies, knowledge-based functional materials and new production processes and devices.

Local speakers and representatives of the European Commission will give presentations at the event. It is anticipated that there will be considerable interest in this event and space may be limited. Early registration is therefore advisable.
