Slavonic school to stay put after UCL merger

The School of Slavonic and East European Studies will stay at its Bloomsbury site and retain its name after merger with University College London. These are two conditions out of 24 approved by SSEES and UCL prior to the merger planned for August. The school will retain its own director and be entered separately in the research assessment exercise in 2001.
