A NEW red-stemmed rhubarb, which does not become dormant in the autumn, has been successfully cloned by researchers and named "Livingstone" after MP Ken Livingstone. Marks and Spencers and Waitrose are interested in the plant, which is being developed at the University of Plymouth's faculty of agriculture, food and land use. It is one of ten innovations shortlisted for possible display in the Millennium Dome.
